A common planning workshop was organized in Vivanta, Jhamshikhel, Lalitpur on February 3, 2020. The objective of the one day workshop was to coordinate with local partners (Practical Action and SNV) for the future activities in clean cooking and pico-hydro sector as well as to share the outcome and various learning of the from past year’s project implementation.
In the workshop, Practical Action team gave a brief presentation along the with discussion on the impact, result, and experiences from the Result Based Financing on clean cooking stoves and what major challenges lie ahead for clean cooking sector in Nepal moving forward. Similarly, SNV also presented on their experiences and planning for the implementation of the pico-hydro project in the EnDev’s new phase drawing from the past experiences in previously implemented IWME projects. The joint discussion also included how to implement Electric Cooking in Nepal for the upcoming phase.
